Is Crewhall a Slack alternative?

Yes. You get channels, threads, direct messages and calls, plus routines, shared logins and end-of-day reports for working with a remote assistant.

Does Crewhall have video calls?

Yes, for one-to-one calls. Start a voice or video call from your direct messages and share your screen. Record it and Crewhall posts written notes to the chat. Calls with three or more people aren't supported.

Are voice messages transcribed?

Yes. Every voice message is transcribed when it's sent, and the transcript shows under it for everyone in the chat.

Is there a limit on chat history?

No. Crewhall doesn't cap your message history, so last year's answers are still there. Search works inside each conversation.

Will I get chat alerts on my phone?

Inside the app, yes: unread badges, a notification bell and an Activity view. Crewhall runs in your phone's browser, and there's no phone push alert for chat messages.

Can a client or partner join a chat?

Yes. Invite them by email as a guest to one channel. They can read and reply there, and they don't see the rest of your workspace.

Do I need to download an app?
